Google spent 2 years researching
Google’s People Innovation Lab (PiLab) spent two years studying more than 5,000 employees in order to understand the impact of distributed work. They conducted surveys and held focus groups, measuring well-being, performance, and connectedness (among other things) and came up with some recommendations on how to make sure things keep consistent, even if your team is spread out across the world.
Google recommend the following 3 things:
- Get to know your people
- Set clear boundaries
- Forge connections
